It can theoretically deliver 300Mbps over a 2.4GHz link as well as 867Mbps using 5GHz transmissions. The system is powered by Qualcomm hardware that creates a dual band Wi-Fi 5 network. All of them can be turned off from the app and there’s a way to have them go on and off on a schedule. The most useful LED is a crude signal strength meter that ranges from white (good Internet connection) to red (the extender is connected but no Internet) or pulsing white (using Wi-Fi Protected Setup).
